27-year-old midfielder ready to sign new contract with Rangers

Ryan Jack wants to sign a new deal with Glasgow Rangers. Scotland international is arguably the most influential and one of the best footballers in Steven Gerrard’s Gers side. Ryan will be vital for the Gers this campaign if they are to finally reclaim the Scottish Premiership title for the first time in almost a decade.

It will be a major psychological and club chemistry boost for Rangers if Jack does indeed sign a new contract. It will indicate that he is happy at the Ibrox club and everyone knows that being happy is vital if a midfielder wants to churn out quality displays regularly.

It will also mean that the Scottish club will have the services of one of their key figures for another few years. Even if Gers do have to sell him if a big club comes knocking on the door, they will be able to negotiate for a good sale price if the 27-year-old midfielder signs a new deal.

Gerrard, as well as Rangers fans, will just be hoping that the Scottish midfielder does not pick up any serious injuries while he is on international duty. Gers have an excellent chance to lift the Scottish Premiership this campaign.
