Bayer Leverkusen ace Leon Bailey has been told to avoid a future move to Chelsea as long as Eden Hazard remains at the club.
Former Premier League stopper Shaka Hislop understands that the Belgian could prevent the Jamaican-born star from flourishing at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking about a potential move to England, as reported by the Daily Star, Shaka Hislop feared that a move now could scupper the winger’s development.
“I think Hazard is going to be there for a while. He’s playing well, I think he’s enjoying his football. I felt that if Hazard was leaving Chelsea and soon, it would have been the summer just gone. It hasn’t happened.”
“Leon Bailey is enjoying life in Germany and let that continue. There’s no rush to get to Chelsea so you can say that Eden Hazard is your team-mate. If you aren’t playing, you aren’t learning or growing in the game.”
Leon Bailey, who is rated at around £55 million, has been heavily linked with a move to England giants like Liverpool and Arsenal specifically, but it is understood that the prolific attacker is keen on a move to west London.
