Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has revealed he dreams about moving to the Premier League. The Spain international has been a mainstay in Madrid’s side since making his debut back in 2013, and he has 20 caps for Spain national team.
The 26-year-old has a contract at Santiago Bernabeu until 2022, but the La Liga side signed Alvaro Odriozola for £40 million last summer and the full-back fears for his summer. And he has suggested he could leave the club by admitting he would like to play in England.
‘I would love to play in the Premier League,’ said the Spain international. ‘It’s an experience that I would love to have, and I don’t want to be left cursing not having experienced it.’
Dani Carvajal is rated at around £45 million, but at 26 he would represent a shrewd investment in a market short of top quality defenders.
And Arsenal who were linked with a move for the Los Blancos star may be reluctant to launch a bid as Hector Bellerin has been solid this season and it is unlike the new manager Unai Emery to make a move.
But Addition of Dani Carvajal will surely be a huge update for the Spanish manager.
