Arsenal have moved a step closer to signing Denis Suarez after agreeing personal terms with the Barcelona ace.
The North London giants have been working hard to get a deal over the line for the one-cap Spain international, who has worked under Unai Emery at La Liga giants Sevilla.
Barcelona are understood only to be interested in a permanent deal, but the Gunners do not have the funds to sign the midfielder and want to take him on an initial loan deal.
Spanish publication Marca suggests that an agreement has been reached between the North London outfit and the 25-year-old, leaving just the Catalan giants to green light the move.
Denis Suarez has been restricted to 17 minutes of playing time in La Liga this term after falling out of favour under Ernesto Valverde.
But Arsenal are low with finances to meet the £20 million valuation of the midfielder who is desperate for more playing time which he would get under former boss Unai Emery at Emirates.
And the Catalan giants are willing to sell Denis Suarez rather than sending him on loan to the Premier League giants this January transfer window.
