The 22-year-old enjoyed a fantastic 2017/18 season in the Championship, although his side failed to get promoted. His rip-roaring campaign in the second tier attracted a lot of Premier League interest, but he made a move to King Power Stadium ahead of the start of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
Inside just a season in the top-flight, the attacker has established himself as one of the exciting youngsters of English football. James Maddison is lighting up the Premier League, having already netted seven goals and created six assists in his debut year at King Power Stadium.
Despite having spent less than a year with the Foxes, the Englishman looks bound for a top-six club and Arsenal surely should revive their interest in the youngster and try signing him in the summer.
Aaron Ramsey will depart Arsenal after he signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus at the turn of the year. The Gunners certainly will be on the lookout for a new midfielder to replace the departing Wales international as Unai Emery looks to build a team capable of challenging for the title.
There is no doubt that James Maddison has the gift to flourish at an elite European side, but only time will tell if Arsenal make Leicester City sell one of their prized assets after only a season.
