Arsenal in negotiations with agents of Serie A star with £35 buy-out clause in contract

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly held discussions with Suso about a return to the EPL. The former Liverpool ace, who came through Anfield outfit’s youth ranks, left England back in 2015 for AC Milan.

Suso has managed to rejuvenate his professional career in Italy’s top tier as he established himself as one of Rossoneri’s most consistent performers.

And it looks like Suso’s form over the last few campaigns have caught the eye of a host of English sides.

Corriere dello Sport state both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have held talks with the star’s entourage with a view of a possible summer move. The Gunners may be keen on the attacker as his includes a £35 million exit clause.

The Gunners had zero transfer funds in January window and may be likewise cash poor in the summer window if Spanish coach Unai Emery fails to deliver UEFA Champions League football.

Spanish player is locked in contract negotiations with AC Milan at the moment, but could be convinced to return to the EPL. Atletico Madrid are also in the hunt to sign Suso, having also sat down with the 25-year-old winger’s entourages.

Suso’s admirers are set to increase in the next few months if the fails to come to terms with his current club over a new contract.

AC Milan want Suso to pen an improvement on his current deal which runs until June of 2022. The club are fourth in Serie A and Spaniard has enjoyed an excellent campaign to date, with eight assists and five goals in 22 outings.
