Bayern Munich have no plans to part ways with David Alaba amid reports that the Bavarians were willing to offer the defender to Manchester City to land Leroy Sane in exchange.
The 27-year-old full-back has spent the last eight seasons with the Bundesliga champions, making a total of 314 appearances in all competitions.
Despite remaining a regular in the starting eleven, there has been the talk of an exit, with Manchester City and Barcelona having been linked with the Austria international.
However, German publication Bild claims, Bayern Munich have no intention of cashing in on David Alaba before the start of the new campaign.
The Austrian had been mentioned in a potential part-exchange deal for Leroy Sane, while Barcelona are looking for competition for Jordi Alba, but the Bayern Munich star is too good to sit on the bench at Nou Camp.
Even if offered the services of David Alaba for Leroy Sane, the English champions would reject it immediately as they value very high and perceive him as the future core of the Man City side along with Raheem Sterling.
The latter even asked the German about his future during a training session in Asia, but the former Schalke man responded that he ‘did not know’ anything about his future.
It remains to be seen how things will progress during as the Premier League club brace themselves for huge bid from Bundesliga champions but after the injury the German club have been quiet.
