Chelsea £200,000-a-week forward agreed to sign five-year deal

Zinedine Zidane has held talks with Eden Hazard and the Chelsea superstar has agreed to join Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard has made no secret of his wish to play for Real Madrid and has often spoken about his adoration of the French legend.

The blues face a difficult decision this summer as the Belgium international will have just a year left on his contract, which means he could leave on a free transfer back in 2020 if he refuses to sign a new contract.

The Premier League giants face a further headache as they will be unable to sign a replacement for the 28-year-old unless they can delay or overturn their transfer ban for the next two windows.

But Sport reports that Eden Hazard has now agreed to join Real Madrid and that the decision to re-appoint Zinedine Zidane as manager has influenced the forward.

It is reported that Eden Hazard has said ‘yes’ to a five-year contract with Los Blancos and will become the club’s highest-earned player. Chelsea have set a £98.5 million price tag for the wing wizard and are open to selling him.

Speaking about his future this week, Eden Hazard told VTM: ‘At the moment nobody is waiting for me. ‘We have to win the Europa League, or we have to finish in the top four to play in the Champions League.

‘I am only thinking about that, not about what might happen in two, three, four months. I don’t know. We will see.’
