Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has reached an agreement with Real Madrid over a move to the Spanish capital next summer.
Eden Hazard has hinted at a desire to play for the reigning European champions at some stage, while his deal at Stamford Bridge expires in 2020.
The Blues are believed to be willing to offer the Belgium international a deal worth £300,000 a week in an attempt to convince him to stay at the club.
However, radio station Onda Madrid suggests that Eden Hazard has already agreed personal terms with the La Liga giants ahead of a possible move at the end of the campaign.
Real Madrid have not yet come to terms with the Blues, though, and the Premier League side’s reluctance to sell their prized asset could prove to be a big stumbling block in negotiations.
Premier League side will not consider bids of any less than £150 million for their star man – a sum Madrid are not willing to match with just 18 months left on his contract.
A player-plus-cash exchange involving Mateo Kovacic – who is currently on loan – could help drive that price down, although Chelsea are intent on keeping Eden Hazard at the club.
