Juventus are planning to launch a last-minute raid to snatch Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi from under the noses of Bayern Munich.
The 18-year-old forward is the subject of a bid north of £30 million from Bayern, despite having just three substitute appearances to his name in the Premier League.
Callum Hudson-Odoi’s stock has risen over the past six months thanks to some impressive pre-season displays, as well as chipping in with three assists and a goal in his five cup outings this season.
The Blues have so far rejected to sell the England Under-19s international to Bayern Munich, but The Mirror adds that the Blues now face further competition to keep hold of the teenage forward as Turin giants are also preparing a bid.
The report adds that Callum Hudson-Odoi’s entourage has already held talks with Serie A champions, though the Wandsworth-born star would prefer to join the Bundesliga giants if he is given a choice.
Juventus are also understood to be on the verge of snapping up Aaron Ramsey from Chelsea’s direct rivals Arsenal on a free contract as the Wales international is believed to have signed a pre-contract agreement.
