Real Madrid could be set to offer Gareth Bale in a bid to land Chelsea’s Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window.
According to The Express, Zinedine Zidane is willing to bring the Belgian superstar to Spain at the end of the campaign.
Los Blancos have been linked with the 28-year-old star several times over the last few years, but could finally be set to make their move.
Welsh forward has started 17 times in La Liga this term, producing eight goals and two assists for the Spanish side.
The report claims that Gareth Bale is happy at the Spanish capital and wants to stay and fight for his place under Zinedine Zidane. Although, it may be out of his hands if Florentino Perez wants to swap him for Eden Hazard.
Gareth Bale would come with bags of Premier League experience, having played over 200 matches for Tottenham Hotspur before his mega move to Real Madrid back in 2013.
Chelsea would open to landing the Wales international at their side as the Blues face losing Eden Hazard in the summer and the key players will surely leave if the right offer arrives as the Premier League giants are struggling to enter the top four in the English top-flight.
The only chance for the Blues to secure the star players is to win the Europa League and qualify for the Champions League in winning manner, but if Maurizio Sarri fails to win the European competition, then he will be undoubtedly sacked ahead of the next campaign.
