Arsenal are ready to sign striker Miguel Almiron from Atlanta United during in January.
The 24-year-old has netted 12 goals in 32 matches for MLS side this term. The Paraguay international has previously indicated it would be a dream to join an English outfit.
And he will sign for Unai Emery’s side in winter, with the Gunners set to pay £15 million to secure his services, per the Daily Mirror. Last Friday, the owner of Atlanta United confirmed Almiron would join an English club when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Club president Darren Eales revealed: ‘Almiron’s future is already decided and he will go to England in the European winter market.’
Atlanta’s boss, meanwhile, understands Miguel Almiron’s move to England will change the perception of the MLS in England. ‘The moment when Miguel Almiron leaves and goes to your country (England) then I think there will be a different view of MLS,’ Tata Martino said.
