After announcing the arrival of full-back, Jetro Willems, Newcastle United have confirmed the capture of Allan Saint-Maximin from Ligue 1 club Nice.

The Magpies have completed their third signing of the summer window, bringing in Nice attacker Allan Saint-Maximin in a deal understood to be worth £16 million.

The addition of the 22-year-old attacker followed the loan arrival of Jetro Willems on Friday, with the former signing a six-year deal at Tyneside.

The former-Monaco man netted six Ligue 1 goals in 34 games for Nice last season and will wear the number 10 shirt for the Magpies.

“I’m delighted to bring Allan to St. James’ Park. He is a very talented young player with a big future ahead of him,” Steve Bruce told Newcastle’s official website.

“He has all the attributes you would want in an attacking player, including lightning pace, so I’m sure he’ll excite everybody. He is a great addition to Newcastle United and the Premier League.”

Allan Saint-Maximin could be in line to make his debut for Newcastle against one of his previous sides, with Steve Bruce’s men taking on Saint-Etienne today.

As well as Allan Saint-Maximin and Jetro Willems, Newcastle United have also signed Brazilian ace Joelinton from Hoffenheim this close season for a club-record fee with the Premier League spending £35 million of Bundesliga ace.

Newcastle United have found tempo after signing Joelinton and are not going to stop until the summer transfer window is open.
