Fenerbahce to approach Liverpool for 26-year-old departing star

Fenerbahce are interested in signing Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno, who will see his current contract with the Reds expire in June 2019, and it is unlikely that the Spaniard will pen an extension with the Reds.

Indeed, the 26-year-old star has only made one Premier League appearance for Liverpool this campaign, having lost his place at left-back to Scotland international Andrew Robertson.

Alberto Moreno is understood to be desperate to secure a return to Spain at the end of the season, but according to Fotomac, Turkish side Fenerbahce are also interested in the left-back.

Alberto Moreno has scored three times in 139 matches for Liverpool since a 2014 arrival from Sevilla, and the Spanish club is considered as a potential destination for the defender, and it was suggested that the club also wanted to re-sign the full-back.

It seems that Turkish giants will provide competition for the defender’s services and it remains to be seen where the Spanish star will end up at the end of the season.

But one thing is clear that he will Anfield at the end of this season.
