Inter Milan agree personal terms with €90m-rated Tottenham attacker

Inter Milan have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Tottenham star Christian Eriksen. Denmark international, who has entered the final six months of his Spurs contract, has been linked to the Nerazzurri for a while now. The report from the Guardian suggests that the Serie A giants could try to sign him for £17m.

Christian has agreed to a five-year contract with the Italian club which would see him earn €7.5m a year along with bonuses. Eriksen hasn’t been very consistent for the London club this campaign, scoring three goals while providing as many assists in 25 matches across all tournaments.

If Tottenham are to lose the 27-year-old attacker, they might as well sell him this month and receive some transfer fee, rather than letting him go for free in the summer. The Danish star would be a solid signing to Inter’s midfield, and someone like him will be needed if they are to win the Serie A this campaign.

Provided Christian Eriksen joins the Nerazzurri, he will be only the third Danish attacker to do so, the other two being Harald Nielsen and Thomas Helveg.
