Leeds United are closely monitoring 24-year-old Rangers midfielder

Leeds United are in the battle to sign Rangers central midfielder Glen Kamara. Gers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed he is braced for major bids for Finland international when the winter window opens. He has made 20 appearances for Rangers this campaign, and 36 in total for the club since his arrival.

Glen is on the club’s radar, and talent spotters were at Scottish club to watch him in action in last week’s memorable 2-0 Europa League triumph against Porto. Kamara enhanced his reputation with an outstanding display as Gers = secured the win that keeps them on course for the Europa League knockout stages.

Peacocks are looking at the 24-year-old midfielder as a target more for next summer than in winter when they will only look to sign new footballers if any of their loan stars are recalled. Gers signed the Arsenal academy product for a bargain £50,000 in winter of this year as he ran down his deal at Dundee.

He is now valued at more than £8m by the Scottish club. Finnish midfielder has reignited his career in Scotland after being released by the Premier League giants in 2017 after making only one appearance for them. He has firmly established himself as a key figure in Gers’ midfield along with veteran Steven Davis and Scottish player Ryan Jack.
