Leeds United in pole position to sign 23-year-old Man City winger

Leeds United will look to sign Jack Harrison permanently from Man City if they get promoted this campaign. U21 England international has been an ever-present in the Championship for the Peacocks in his second loan season and developed into a consistent match-winning forward after a mixed first campaign.

Marcelo Bielsa is a huge admirer of Jack and convinced he can make a big impact in the Premier League. The Argentine manager will push for Whites to make a move to sign Harrison full-time should they be one of the three second-tier sides promoted this campaign.

Harrison ’s value has increased this campaign considerably, and Man City will have noted how his productivity has grown over the last two months. Nevertheless, Jack is unlikely to force his way into Pep Guardiola’s team of superstars, where Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane are among the wide attackers.

Marcelo has placed great faith in Jack even though his first season in which he played 34 league starts among 42 Championship games yielded a relatively meagre four goals and four assists. He has been even stronger and fitter this campaign and this has resulted in three goals and four assists from Leeds’ last nine league games.
