Liverpool are interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg forward Munas Dabbur, who joined Salzburg from Grasshopper back in 2016 and has netted 55 times in 110 appearances for his current side in all competitions.
This season, the striker has registered 20 times in 30 appearances, including six in six Europa League outings.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the Merseyside giants want to sign Munas Dabbur this month with the Israel international announcing his intention to leave the Austrian club during the January transfer window.
However, the same report adds that Valencia and Fulham are also closely monitoring his developments.
The 26-year-old scored 22 times last season to inspire Salzburg to the Austrian Bundesliga title, and since then the free-scoring forward has been linked with moves to European giants with Jurgen Klopp’s side being among them in the past months.
The Reds are also understood to be willing to sanction a big-money move for Germany international Timo Werner who is seeking a new challenge and wants to perform at a higher level.
Bayern Munich are the favourites to land the 22-year-old centre-forward who would surely be huge upgrade on Rebert Lewandowski who is linked with Allianz Arena exit.
