Liverpool are keen on signing Eintracht Frankfurt loanee Luka Jovic during the summer, according to LFC Globe.
Luka Jovic, who will head back to Benfica at the end of the campaign, stormed the football world when he managed to score five goals in one game against Dusseldorf a few weeks back.
The talented striker, who has been referred to as ‘The Serbian Falcao’ in his country, has all the qualities required to be an elite forward and has even been tipped by the director of Red Star Belgrade, Zvezdan Terzic, to be “become the best striker in Europe”.
However, even though Jurgen Klopp has registered the interest in the 20-year-old, any deal could end up being a complicated one as Frankfurt have an option to buy at the conclusion of his loan deal.
With European sides now keen on Jovic though, the youngster’s parent club may opt to sell him elsewhere and make a profit on the starlet, and with his current deal set to run out in 2021, there is a firm belief they could secure around £20 million for his services.
With nine goals and three assists in only 13 matches this season, Luka Jovic seemingly seems the ideal fit for Liverpool as a backup option.
