After a whole summer drama, Real Madrid playmaker Isco is finally finding form at the club, playing 90 minutes in the win over Alavés at the weekend. Spain international’s performances have been impressing several people, and one of them would be Man City boss Pep Guardiola… it’s a story which will never die.
The website says Spain coach Luis Enrique called Isco to congratulate him for his form, telling him to keep up with the good work. The Spanish tactician didn’t call him but told Man City’s board to prepare an offer for the playmaker. It ‘could’ be €50m.
That would perhaps be enough for Florentino Perez, but not for Zinedine Zidane. The coach knows he may lose James Rodriguez in winter, and considering that Isco is their most creative footballer, he wouldn’t like the idea of letting the Spaniard go as well.
That’s why Man City would have bigger chances of improving this offer, even though it hasn’t even been made yet. Citizens signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Joao Cancelo from Juventus, Rodri from Atletico Madrid, Pedro Porro from Girona and Angelino from PSV.
