Man City are looking closely at Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé- but will have to pay upwards of £86m to secure his signature. France international is eyeing a move away from the Catalan club due to receiving less game time than he feels he deserves.
Ousmane joined the La Liga club for an initial fee of £112m in 2017, as a replacement for the departing Neymar. Reports at the time suggested Spanish giants proposed swapping players including Dembélé for Neymar last summer. Cityzens signed several footballers this summer like Joao Cancelo and Rodri.
Now, Spanish manager reportedly has a keen interest in the 22-year-old attacker, who could be an ideal replacement for Leroy Sané should he leave for Bayern Munich. French forward can play on either wing- a trait Guardiola often values in his wide footballers.
Spanish tactician believes he can help the youngster reach his potential, following the incredible transformation of Raheem Sterling, a transformation the Catalan coach believes he can replicate. Ousmane was in the Les Bleus squad that won the World Cup in Russia and has scored twelve goals in over forty appearances for Barcelona.
