Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has declared himself fit to face Crystal Palace this weekend after nearly two months on the sidelines.
The summer signing has played just twice for the Red Devils since the move from Portuguese giants Porto last summer transfer window and last featured in late September during a Carabao Cup exit to Derby County.
The 19-year-old impressed on both of his appearances for the club and Manchester United could have done with him during the last couple of months as Antonio Valencia has been struggling with his injuries.
However, the teenager confirmed on his Twitter that he was fit and ‘ready’ to help his team against the Eagles.
‘That feeling when you’re ready to help your team again,’ said the teenager. ‘Good week to everyone’.
Diogo Dalot’s return comes at a perfect time for Manchester United, who will be without Luke Shaw for the visit of Palace at the weekend.
Ashley Young, who has been playing at right-back in Antonio Valencia’s absence, could be moved to left-back to allow let the Portuguese play at right-back.
