Man United closely monitoring £75,000-a-week Tottenham attacker

Red Devils are reportedly willing to pay £42m for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen. Denmark international was linked to Real Madrid a few weeks back that Los Blancos would make a move for him.

Now, Man United are preparing a £42m offer to sign Christian in the winter transfer window. This report also states that the Red Devils held negotiations with Eriksen last month.

Danish playmaker has been a crucial player for the Spurs since joining them from Ajax, netting 68 goals and providing 87 assists in 291 games across all tournaments. This campaign, the 27-year-old playmaker has scored twice while assisting once in 14 games.

Christian’s current deal with Tottenham expires next summer, and he is yet to sign a new one. There is a good chance that this season might be Eriksen’s last with the North London club. Spurs will prefer selling him for a good amount in winter rather than let him go for nothing next summer.

Danish attacker could be a massive addition to Man United’s squad if they manage to sign him. Red Devils signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Harry Maguire from Leicester City, Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.
