Manchester United will let Paul Pogba leave this transfer window, but only if their asking price of £150 million is met.
The France international is the subject of interest from Real Madrid and his former side Juventus an inconsistent time at Premier League giants since his return back in 2016.
Frenchman’s future appeared to become much clearer on Sunday when he revealed for the first time that he is looking for a ‘new challenge’ away from the Red Devils.
Despite wanting to leave the Manchester club, they do not want to let him go and will only do so for an enormous fee of £150 million. After coming through the youth ranks with Manchester United, Paul Pogba moved to Juventus and returned to Manchester for £89 million back in 2016.
However, it has not quite worked out for the Frenchman back in England in a turbulent period for the Red Devils. Despite finishing as the top scorer last campaign, he is not an entirely popular figure among supporters, and he is now looking for a new club.
‘For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; The World Cup winner told reporters in Japan
‘After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else. ‘I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else.’
Manchester United have been linked with moves for Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic and Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff.
