Allan is confident his side can turn around their Europa League quarter-final due to Arsenal’s poor away form.
The Gunners produced one of their exceptional performances of the season in win at Emirates and Napoli must overturn a two-goal deficit to progress through to the semi-finals.
Aaron Ramsey and Kalidou Koulibaly’s own goals doubled the Gunners’ lead but Unai Emery claimed the tie was still ’50-50′ despite the 2-0 victory and Allan knows Carlo Ancelotti’s men have every chance as Arsenal ‘always suffer’ away from home.
‘In the first half, we suffered a lot. If you let them play it becomes hard,’ the midfielder told CalcioNapoli24. ‘The fans are right to be disappointed, they can say what they want. We are disappointed too.
‘We have to accept criticism, but inside the changing room we know we are able to overturn it. We are a team if we suffer let’s do it all together. They concede a lot, in the first half we had to score with [Lorenzo] Insigne. But we know Arsenal always suffer on the road.’
Questioned about his side’s chances, Carlo Ancelotti told BT Sport: ‘Totally confident. We know our support and stadium, and we will try to win with two goals.’
Meanwhile, Arsenal are trying to secure the services of David Neres who is shining in the Eredivisie and the Champions League this year.
The youngster has been a revelation for Ajax, and Unai Emery will persuade the £40 million-rated winger in the summer.
