With his contract at Bournemouth set to expire next summer, Ryan Fraser is going to be a man in demand. Scotland international could potentially leave Dean Court for a cut-price fee in winter, or for absolutely nothing at the end of the campaign.
He was reportedly a target for Gunners in the summer, while Newcastle United were also loosely credited with an interest. Whether they were or weren’t keen, Magpies need to be interested in winter. Ryan is one of the best players outside of the top six and would undoubtedly boost Steve Bruce’s attacking ranks.
Other than Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin, we don’t have many great wide options who can change a game. But Fraser can do exactly that. The 25-year-old attacker scored seven goals for the Cherries last campaign, but his assist record is even more impressive.
Scottish winger directly set up 14 goals in the Premier League, with only Eden Hazard managing more in the entire division. He’s reportedly been offered a new contract to remain at Dean Court, but he is yet to sign on the dotted line.
He can run down his deal and leave on a free, or Cherries may decide to cash in while they can and get at least some money for him in winter.
