The Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close eye on the Super Lig outfit Galatasaray teenage winger Yunus Akgun, according to the sports television channel ESPN, quoted by Calciomercato.com.
The report claims that the Blues are amongst a host of European giants looking at the 18-year-old ace, who has made seven first-team appearances for the Turkish side.
Italian club Juventus, Portuguese outfit Benfica and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are all thought to be keen on securing the teenager’s services.
Yunus, who is capable of playing as a centre-forward or out on either wing, recently featured for his country’s under-19 side, playing a key role in the Euro Under-19 wins over Moldova and England.
The winger has impressed so far this campaign, however, the highly-rated young attacker has had to settle for a place on the bench, staking his claim for a senior start with numerous cameos.
It looks like if the Blues want to secure a deal for Yunus Akgun, they will have to act in the New Year, as the talent’s stock is seemingly rising after every match.
