Porto have informed Manchester United that they will have to hand over £68 million to sign Eder Militao.
The Red Devils have been linked with some centre-backs over the past five months, having missed out on the likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld and Yerry Mina last summer transfer window.
The 20-times English champions have been impressed by Eder Militao’s displays in the Champions League and, according to Portuguese publication O Jogo, an enquiry has been made this month.
The report adds that Manchester United will have to part with a hefty sum to land the 20-year-old, however, with that quoted figure required to buy out his deal.
Eder Militao is also understood to be a top target for Real Madrid, while Liverpool may even be tempted to move after losing a few players to injury and Jurgen Klopp’s side were also linked with a move for the one-capped Brazilian defender.
The youngster is in-demand at the moment, but it remains to be seen if any team would splash £68 million on the defender, who is yet to prove his massive price tag.
