Rangers coach wants to sign 22-year-old winger on a permanent deal

Gers forward Sheyi Ojo is doing all he can in training to earn himself a permanent transfer. Rangers are reportedly discussing the potential for a permanent move to happen from the Merseyside club as has happened in recent times with Ryan Kent.

It is a fact that Ojo has impressed as much as Kent did last campaign, but it is still early, and he has at least shown in patches that he is a footballer of some talent and explosive pace out wide. For Hutton, too, he’ll be showing in training that he wants to play for the club.

He said: “Training every day, they’ll see how he is, his attitude, his willingness to work and he ticks those boxes because Gerrard doesn’t seem like the sort of guy that would put up with someone that didn’t.”It’s a good point at the end, there.

Gerrard isn’t going to keep people around that aren’t putting a shift in even in training, and it sounds as though he is impressed with Sheyi’s attitude and application at the moment. Ojo joined the Scottish club from Liverpool this summer with a season-long loan deal. He has vast potential and can become a top-class forward.
