Rangers held negotiations with 18-year-old promising centre-forward

Rangers are remaining keen on a deal for centre-forward Ronan Darcy from Bolton Wanderers soon. The striker has seen a chance come his way this campaign with Bolton struggling to even field aside at the start of the season.

Of course, they look a little healthier now, but it seems as though Ronan is still a footballer in contention to play for them and he has underlined his obvious talent at the club. Gers, then, have had their attention caught by him and it now just stays to be seen if we look to get a deal over the line.

Rangers have a good academy set-up at the moment, and with great young footballers coming through all the time, Darcy might feel this is the next step in his career, though it’s also possible he now has a real taste for first-team football.

Gers started this season fantastically as they are leading the Scottish Premiership table. Rangers signed several players during the summer transfer window like Ryan Kent from Liverpool, Filip Helander from Bologna, George Edmundson from Oldham Athletic and Joe Aribo from Charlton Athletic.
