Los Blancos are reportedly interested in signing Man City forward Riyad Mahrez. The 29-year-old winger has featured in 81 games for Pep Guardiola’s side since joining them from Leicester City, scoring 21 goals while providing 26 assists.
La Liga giants are interested in signing Riyad and City will demand €100m for him. It has also been claimed that Parisians are interested in signing Mahrez as well. Algeria international has featured in 37 games across all tournaments for Man City this campaign so far, netting nine goals while providing 14 assists.
The Algerian forward has been a regular in 2019/20, but once Leroy Sane is back to full fitness, there’s no telling whether Riyad will enjoy as many first-team chances. Hence, a move away from the club might do him well in terms of game time.
Riyad would be a decent signing to Real Madrid’s squad, but €100m for someone like him who is approaching 30 looks a tad redundant. Real Madrid have impressive consequences in La Liga this campaign as they are in a second place in the table.
Los Blancos signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Rodrygo Goes from Santos, Eder Militao from Porto, Ferland Mendy from Lyon and Alphonse Areola from PSG with a season-long loan deal.
